CarryHalf is built so your household information stays on your device. There are no accounts, we do not run a server-side copy of your household data, and we do not sell your data.
CarryHalf lets you set up your household: names, important dates, domains, task ownership, schedules, standards, notes, food preferences and allergies, calendar items, and progress settings. All of this is stored locally on your device. We do not run user accounts and we do not maintain a server-side copy of your household data.
CarryHalf does not send your tasks, notes, schedules, or household details to an AI provider. It does not access your contacts, location, device calendar, camera, or photo library.
Reminders and nudges are scheduled locally on your device. Turning them on or off is handled by your device's notification settings and the toggles in the app.
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of your payment information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
CarryHalf does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it. You can erase everything with Reset app data in Settings. Deleting the app from your device deletes the data stored in it.
No method of storage is perfectly secure, but keeping your household data on your device rather than on our servers is a core part of how we protect it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as access, correction, and deletion. Because CarryHalf keeps your data on your device and we do not hold a copy, you can exercise these directly in the app as described above. For anything else, contact us at privacy@minzystudios.com.
Where the GDPR applies, we process information on your device to provide the app you asked for (Article 6(1)(b), performance of a contract). Your data is on your device. Where the GDPR applies you have a right to a portable copy; contact us at privacy@minzystudios.com and we will tell you how to obtain one.
We may update this policy as the app changes. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
