Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the CarryHalf app. By downloading or using CarryHalf, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What CarryHalf is, and is not

CarryHalf is a personal organization app that helps households track tasks, ownership, schedules, and progress.

3. Your subscription

CarryHalf requires a subscription.

• Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, on the plan you pick (currently $35.99 per year or $4.99 per month), and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices may change; the price shown at purchase is what applies to you.
• New subscribers are offered a free first month. The offer is Apple's, it is available once per Apple ID per subscription group, and whether you are eligible is decided by Apple, not by us. When it applies, the price shown at purchase is what you will be charged when the free month ends.
• Your subscription begins when you purchase it, including when the first month is free. A payment method is required at that point, nothing is charged during the free month, and the subscription renews automatically at the end of it unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings, not through us. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
• If a subscription lapses, the app locks and everything you have entered stays on your device, available again when you resubscribe.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse CarryHalf. That includes not attempting to reverse engineer, probe, or abuse the app or its services, and not reselling access to the app.

5. Your content

What you enter into CarryHalf stays yours. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Intellectual property

CarryHalf, including its design, copy, and code, belongs to Minzy Studios LLC or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, per Apple's standard licensed application terms.

7. Disclaimers

CarryHalf is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Minzy Studios LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising out of your use of CarryHalf. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $60 if you paid nothing.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so parts of sections 7 and 8 may not apply to you.

9. Termination

You can stop using CarryHalf at any time; deleting the app removes the data stored in it. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the service.

10. Apple

These Terms are between you and Minzy Studios LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for CarryHalf and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use CarryHalf after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Vermont, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
